| Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been taking pictures. Whether they’re of a specific subject, like the flowers in my Grandma’s garden, or whether they were an attempt at documenting a canoe trip I took with my mother, I’ve always been taking pictures. My mother was the one who initially got me into photography, being the photographer of our family gatherings for years, which is why I’m drawn to documenting trips and people and life in general. Though documentation is not the only reason I enjoy photography. I also enjoy photography because I like to use different types of mediums to express myself and my views, especially as an artist. I also love to experiment with my photographs, trying to find new ways to see things or show them to others. |
